LPN Board Review
ENTRANCE/ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma is required to enter this program and sit for the NCLEX-PN. Students are also required to bring their nursing school credentials before admission. The Board of Nursing requires English proficiency, credentials translation, and credentials evaluation from all foreign NCLEX-PN candidates.
Individuals who seek enrollment in the LPN Board Prep program must be a nursing graduates (foreign or U.S. graduates) and/or have been informed by an authorized credentialing agency or by the State Board of Nursing that they are qualified to take the NCLEX-PN.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
This program is designed to assist NCLEX-PN candidates (foreign or U.S. candidates) to successfully pass their state licensure board exam.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The LPN Board Prep program is offered over 12 weeks period and consists of 160 clock hours of theory and 40 clock hours of lab (test taking strategies). It is conducted in a classroom and computer lab. It focuses on the specific components of the NCLEX-PN test plan (Medical-Surgical, Maternity, Pediatric, Geriatric and Mental Health Nursing).
It is geared towards NCLEX-PN candidates (foreign graduates and U.S. candidates) having difficulties to pass their state exam. An additional 2 weeks is given to candidates to practice extra test taking strategies in our lab.
