Home Health Aide
Home Health Aides provide personal care in the home to people who are physically disabled at any age, individuals with long-term illness and adults with Mental Disabilities (Alzheimer's disease). They help their patients with everyday activities like getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, exercising and grooming. They help with housekeeping and prepare meals. They also provide emotional support to their patients. They work with Social workers, Nurses, Physicians, Patients' family members for the betterment of the patient.

Home Health Aide skills
Anatomy and Physiology
Nutrition and Infection Control
Students also gain plenty of hands-on-experience during clinical activities

LENGTH:
75 hours
2 weeks – Full time/Day classes
3 weeks – Part time/Evening classes
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must be 17 years old or older
A high school diploma or GED certificate
(If you do not have one of the above, you will be required to take the TABE test $25)
Social Security card
FL Driver License or any valid Florida ID card
$100 Registration Fee
Payment plan/full payment or arrangement for payments
